"A really interesting wine made from 'Rebula' the Slovenian clone of Ribolla Gialla. It has an incredible nose that is reminiscent of wild herbs, dried orange zest, candied pears and cooked apples. It opens up to give a slightly red-fruit flavour hint of fresh garden strawberries. Nothing too aggressive on the tannin side of things but just enough to add to the textural element. A lovely long finish, too, with acidity that tingles your cheeks for moments to come."
