"One of the most classic red wines from this particular region. It is technically not a 'Valpolicella' wine as it isn't using solely Corvina and the above grapes. A touch of international grapes are used in the mix, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. All of this helps to give this wine its juicy richness, an aspect that many Valpolicella Classicos sadly lack. This on the other hand has got plenty of body and structure and simply perfect for those of you that are wanting a change from your normal Syrah or Merlot wine. It has layers of black cherry, plum, and currants on the nose. A touch of liquorice and dark chocolate on the palate."
