Champagne Marguet - 'Shaman' 2012

 Champagne - France

 Methode Traditionelle

Chardonnay (50%) and Pinot Noir (50%)

"What I love about this Champagne is its accessibility, it has something for everyone. There is a sweet and ripe apple and white nectarine note on the nose which is soon met in the middle with some toasted oats, Meyer lemon and freshly baked brioche. The palate is alive and zippy with plenty of acidity but it is all in equal measure to the fruit concentration. A very well crafted Champagne!"

Sparkling wines are versatile when it comes to food matching. Lighter and more aromatic sparkling wines are best with spicier foods, where richer and more complex bottle-fermented sparkling wines are best with richer foods.

Overall, they are perfect accompanied by:

Hard and Soft Cheeses

Fresh Vegetables

Fish and Shellfish

White Meat e.g. Chicken and Turkey
