"Perhaps my favourite Chardonnay from the illustrious Christopher Tracey of Channing Daughters (and that is saying something!). The Brick Kiln ties together the richness you can only get from aged oak and the nutty intensity that you get from lees stirring. This wine has a wonderful nose that is made up of baked apples and pears, almond croissant, lemon curd, and nutmeg syrup. The palate has a streak of salty minerality that runs through it - that beautiful Hamptons chord. It is somewhat delicious now but really will continue to develop in the bottle over the next few years too, don't be shy!"
