"The Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc is a true wine of its time and there is nothing else quite like it. It is one of those rare white wines that can actually age for a few decades and only improve along the way. My favourite part of this wine is that it is a whole wine but also each of its individual grapes too. You can keep smelling this wine over the course of the night and recognise the Viognier, then the Chenin Blanc yet it all comes together in such harmony. Wonderful aromas of beeswax, yellow nectarine and peach, dried apricots, baked lemon, tangerine and almond brioche."
