Brandy
Brandy is a fantastically complex style of spirits which are often overlooked by todays youth. Like Whisk(e)y it spends a fair time in oak which gives many complex aromatic compounds to the overall spirit, though it is made from a grape base not a grain base. A fairly neutral white wine base is distilled to give a grape spirit which is then aged in oak for a fair time.
