Vermouth
Vermouth is a style of Fortified Wine that could also be called an 'aromatised wine'. Essentially it starts off with a wine base which is fortified and sweetened. This then sits in a tank or barrel where a large range of herbs and spices are added to macerate for a period of time. These fortified wines can sometimes considered spirits or aperitifs.
