Vin Doux Naturels

Vin Doux Naturels are a style of Fortified Wines. It starts off with a sweet wine as base which is fortified up to around 16-18% alcohol content, or fermenting wines are stopped by the addition of alcohol and fortified up to a 16-18% alcohol content retaining high levels of sugar and sweetness. The best examples are found in the south of France.
