"This has a real Cote Rotie feel to it due to the pure intensity and minerality aspect of it. There is a real rush of black plum, dried red currants, mulberry and licorice notes on the nose initially. It opens up to give vanilla bean, smoke, a touch of grilled meats and provencal herbs. This is the current release so it is starting to drink now but the incredibly soft, yet sturdy, tannins will see it through for at least another 5-8 years in the cellar."
