"This pretty and incredibly aromatic white wine is quite unlike most Pinot Gris/Grigio. It has been aged on its skins in amphorae (traditional clay vessels) which gives the resulting wine a rich copper colour. A real intense nose filled with hyped up flavours. Yellow pears, red apple, white peach and nectarine, candied lemons and a nutty note too (walnut?). It is wonderfully rich and textural on the palate and all of the amazing flavours above trickle out slowly on the long finish."
