"Galea, along with Brazan, are iClivi's grand cru Friulano wines and are their cherished wines. The Brazan vineyard has slightly older vines, averaging 70 years of age, and also has sites that face the ocean. All of this helps to give the Brazan more of citrus and clear mineral face to it. Where the Galea is fruit-focused with its lees, the Brazan is more complex and made for the long haul. It has lemon pith, lime sherbet and white nectarine notes on the nose. The palate shows the higher acidity and a salty-twang to it. Delicious"
