"The extra ripeness of this Spatlese has compared to the Kabinett I just tasted is immense and truly enjoyable. A step up with layers of flavours with floral, fruit and spice notes all coming together like you might expect in an aged sweet wine on the nose but this is just lightly sweet, thanks to the acid, and thus is a masterpiece of winemaking. Daisy, white lavendar, crystallised ginger, lime zest and mango. Excellent!"
