"Dense and thick on the nose but it doesn’t take long for gorgeous dried rose aromas to rise out of the glass. A slide into salted cheese rind, dates and fresh figs. Then the black fruits predominant the nose and the palate; black plums, black berry jam and damsons. The palate gave more in the ways of flavours I thought – more classic black licorice, prune, boiled raspberry and candied lavender. I had to stop myself from pouring more on this one."
