Christian Tschida (pronounced cheetah) is one of those eclectic wine folk you always wish you'll come across. If isn't the spear-head in the natural wine movement then I simply don't know who is. Wine marketers always like to state their wines are made in the most romantic way spiriting up ideas people drinking and stomping grapes with their feet - but we all know that isn't how it actually happens (it happens in a big tank/press)... However, Tschida does actually foot-stomp everything. All of his wines are spontaneous ferments and are all truly wonderful wines.
