Bodegas Alvear

The Alvear family have a long history in the southern regions of Spain's fantastically beautiful coastline. Yet it wasn't until the early 1700s when they built the winery in the sub-region of Montilla-Morilles. Now with nearly 300 years of experience and an ever-growing family, the Bodegas Alvear are booming not just in the domestic marketplace of Spain but also regularly featured in the top markets around the world. Unlike most Sherry producers who focus on the usage of the Palomino grape for the base of their wines, Alvear have always been fascinated with Pedro Ximenez, and showcasing all of it's character.
