Please allow for up to a working week for products to be delivered to you. Due to our vast range online we have split our wines across Auckland and Wellington warehousing. It is due to this that sometimes your order may need to be consolidated before sending on to you which may take an extra day or two. Otherwise all orders are delivered to ASAP.

Shipping Prices

The prices for shipping are as follows. It is done by price NOT by how many bottles or cases you buy from us. If you are buying 24 bottles (2 cases) - something that would usually occur in two shipping charges - you only have to pay the shipping charge once! It often makes sense to buy in bulk when it comes to wine, so we wanted to play our part and thank those of you that do by giving you these easy and discounted options.

Auckland City

-Less than $150 = $5

-Over $150 = FREE!

North Island (ex Auckland)

-Less than $150 = $14

-Over $150 = $7

South or Waiheke Island

-Less than $150 = $20 

-Over $150 = $10

WEEKEND DELIVERY (Auckland area only at the moment)

We are happy to be able to offer weekend delivery in the Auckland area between the regions of Orewa (North) and Mt Wellington (South).

If you would like to have your packages dropped off to your home (or friend's house) on the weekend - Saturday OR Sunday - then you have to choose the "AKL Weekend Drop-Off" options instead of the regular Auckland area shipping fees when checking out. To specify which day or am/pm then just jot it down in the 'extra information' slot when checking out.

The price is $10 per order. Thats the same price for 1 bottle or 100 bottles!

This is only available on purchases made before midday on Friday.

DELIVERY

At this point in time The Cellar does not hold every single product featured on the website in our Auckland warehouse. Instead the products (when bought via the website) are sent from the importers to us and we repackage, and then send them back out to you.

We do it this way for a couple of reasons: a) We have to for alcohol licensing, and b) in order to keep as large a range as possible featured on our webstore. 

This process from importer to you can take a couple of days either side of getting to us depending on where you are in the country. We ask that you allow for up to 4-6 working days from checkout to delivery. In reality the products should only take a day or two to get to our warehouses and another day, maybe two, to get back out to you.

Once the wines get to us we shall supply you with a tracking number as soon as it is dispatched.
