Bodegas Suau Distillery

Bodegas Suau is an interesting distillery which was set up in the 1830s by Don Juan Suau who was a captain and businessman responsible for exporting aniseed from Cuba to the Spanish empire. It was in the 1830s when he first came to Spain, the islands of Mallorca to be precise, and soon fell in love. He then set up camp in Mallorca making Brandy - a feat he has been doing since 1850.
