Corsica
Corsica is the island off the south of France - geographically closer to Italy than France. It is often forgotten, or not even thought of at all, when considering French wine. It has always made wine but most of it has been the 'country-cousin' to mainland France. Thankfully in the last few decades the quality of wines have increased four-fold and are now being poured in some of the top restaurants in the world.
