Meerlust

Meerlust has long been recognised for producing world-class wines. It was set up by the Myburgh family in 1756 and is proudly in the eighth generation. This historic winery has always insisted on being in total control of the wines from the vineyard to glass. This has lead to the winery only using grapes from their large estate's vineyards. The vineyards are planted on the hills overlooking False Bay which gives cooling ocean breezes which slowly ripen the grapes giving concentrated and complex aromas.
