Tannat

Tannat is named as such as it is one of, if not, the most tannic grape varietals in the world. It is, if you didn't already guess, a red grape varietal that originally comes from the south of France yet it has recently found a niche and new home in Uruguay where the climate is just right for getting the tannins ripe enough.
